Adult Computer Basics Course

This is the newest of our programs is designed to help adults gain computer literacy The program shows adults everything from Identifying the components of a computer system how clean and maintain a system, how to navigate a desktop using Windows, set up an E-mail address, surf the Net, create a word document using Word Perfect and a host of other basic computer applications & functions. We are in the process of revamping this program we will keep you posted as to its progress thanks for you patience.

Operation Start: International Software and Manual Collection Program

This program is designed with the international community in mind. We are in the process of gathering software and manuals that are written is other languages so we can help refugees and New Canadians to integrate easier into the community we need your help and input if you can donate please don't hesitate contact us today.

Vintage Parts And Systems Program

We Are now taking any old systems and parts as far back as the 1960's as well as the old Commodore 64's, Apples, Vic 20's, and yes the old Tandy's we will also take any of the old software, reels, any of those old vintage accessories manuals and books you still have kicking around in your attic or basement or even tucked away in the back of the warehouse on mothballs for our Interactive Computer Hall of Fame & Museum.


COMPUTERS FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

The newest of all our programs, its purpose is to recycle computers specifically taylored for use by persons with disabilities. We are hoping to be able to rebuild them and customize them according to the varying needs of this community of persons. We are hoping to secure donations of computer parts and software that were manufactured for the purpose of assisting persons with disabilities. If you can assist us in this venture contact us today.

Refurbishing  &
 Reuse Program (RGRP)


We are very pleased to have partnered with Nether World Collectibles in an effort to recycle refurbish old gaming systems so they do not enter into our landfills as there is a huge retro gaming community out there. They will for every game or machine we receive contribute a portion of the proceeds to Technology For People Group Inc. to assist us in furthering our mandate and mission to Reuse Refurbish and Recycle old electronics..Thanks Nether World for doing your part to protect our environment and being a forward thinking home grown business. we look forward to a long partnership with you.!

SENIOR CITIZENS AND SHUT-INS OUTREACH PROGRAM

Technology For People Group Inc. would be very proud to bring this program to the Community. We here at the TFPG Inc. respect and honor those who are in their senior years and realize that they have given a lot to their communities during their life times and we feel its only right for us to give them what they have given us. This program will be specifically tailored for the varying technological needs of this particular community and would be geared toward the needs of the individual. 

ADAPTIVE TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM


This program would be designed to facilitate the acquisition of the various forms of adaptive technologies that a business or institution may have a surplus of and they want to donate it to an organization that will ensure that those who need it most will benefit from it or were previously used by persons with disabilities either at home or the work place who may no longer require a particular piece of hardware and software and who may wish to donate it so other persons or organizations in this particular community who find them themselves challenged financially to the point that they are unable to purchase such equipment or software new. Technology for People Group Inc. would perform any maintenance or refurbishing that would be required and make it available to the community.Community members & organizations would  be able to rent or purchase it at much reduced rate. All rental fee's or payments received for purchases under this program would be used to exclusively maintain it. It would also act as a information clearing house on the subject of accessible technology & barrier free computing for the general public, governments on all three levels and their agencies,small & large businesses ,charities & nonprofits in partnership with all the stakeholders in this particular community.
