CONFIDENTIALITY

We here at the TFPG take our client and donor confidentiality extremely serious. We do not tolerate sensitive client information being discussed or passed on to anyone or any other organization other than those within the TFPG  who need to know this information for processing purposes. We strive to ensure your confidentiality is respected and protected. We insist that all our volunteers and staff are very clear on this.


INFORMATION SECURITY

Your security is one of our biggest priorities. Electronic and documented information is well protected and is kept secure guaranteed. All donated hard drives are double checked so as to make sure that all sensitive electronic data is completely erased from them using a software program called DBAN 1.07 to protect both our donors and clients.

COPYRIGHT AND SOFTWARE PIRACY

The TFPG does not and will not support nor endorse software piracy and copyright infringement. We will not accept copied versions of software programs now or at any point in the future. We adhere to all licensing and software agreements as stated by the various manufacturer's of those software program's.

How to receive a computer.

Anyone can receive a system  but our first priority is to serve the low income community in the following order first family's then individual's,charities,and other Non-profit's

Familys


  • Consist of a Minimum of two persons noting that family's with children take first priority
  • Have children and teens attending school Kindergarten to grade twelve
  • Be referred by one of our partner agencies or be approved directly by Technology For People Group Inc.
  • Be able to demonstrate a sincere need for a system and that your family's financial resources are limited to the point that you are unable to purchase a system  at current market value.
  • you  may then be eligible for a system for about $55.00 - $75.00 depending on type of system.

INDIVIDUALS
  • Are 19 years or older
  • For individuals your total income must not exceed $11,000 per year after taxes
  • Be referred by one of our partner organizations or be directly approved by Technology For People Group Inc.
  • Currently do not have a computer in your homeAre able to demonstrate a sincere need for a system and that your financial resources are limited to the point that you are unable to purchase at current market value

ORGANIZATIONS

  • Are an organization that is a Non-profit or Charitable ,community based organization that assists family's, and Individuals with financial, physical, intellectual and social barriers (You must be registered) 
  • Can demonstrate you are limited financially
  • Approved directly By Technology For People Group Inc.
